I replaced a leaking shower valve after my shower head began leaking. I turned off the water in my garage, and after the repair when I turned water back on (about 20 hours ago) either the water heater or our push-through began and continues to make this noise.
I just uploaded the video to YouTube, but hopefully it's ready by the time anyone tries to view it.
My wife also told me this morning that the shower is still leaking, so I went from DIY to dud pretty fast.

How do I go about fixing that, or is that beyond DIY level?

Yes, we're getting hot water at all fixtures we've been using.

Think maybe you have air in your lines did you bleed them when you turned water back on?

Since I don't know what it means to bleed the lines, I'm going to have to say I didn't!

Turn water off. Turn all sink faucets and showers on in house turn water back on start on lowest level of house and run sinks/faucets valves until water flows continuously with no air spurting out then shut valve. Do this on toilets too take tank lid off and flush and keep flush handle down until all air is out and water flows without interruption of air. Work your way from the bottom of the house to the top.
