I have been trying to figure out how to fix what seems to be an airlock after pipes freezing but nothing bursting or breaking. I am running off of a well system and the pump is operating correctly.

The symptoms are as follows:
- Cold water running from all cold taps except for downstairs shower.
- No water coming out of any hot taps in the whole house.
- Hot water tank not getting water (I'm assuming)

Things I've tried:
- De-thawing the frozen PVC lines that I found to be frozen.
- Using laundry room cold tap hooked up to hot tap to attempt to push an airlock out. When this was done the hot water tap had water coming out from the sink next to the washer but kitchen and other faucets still had no water present.
- Turning the supply off at the pump and turning all of the faucets on to clear system. Turned all cold taps off and left hot taps on when resupplying main water feed.

After the stated attempts above the symptoms still remain the same.

I appreciate the help.

It sounds like you have a problem at the top of your water heater. Either the hot or cold side is plugged. If you can take them apart probably one or the other is plugged. Take a screw driver and push it down through the nipples and open them up. If there are small plastic check valves in the nipples take them out and clean them.

Was just wondering if you got your problem taken care of or not.
