I am gettng lukewarm water from my peerless shower head. I replaced the cartridge. There is no anti scald feature at the valve. What is wrong?

Post a pic of the valve with the trim removed. Is this the only fixture with hot water issues ? Did you have this problem before replacing the cartridge ?

Here you go. I removed my faucet aerator and that seemed to help quite a bit.

Yes. It is a Moen. I took the picture before replacing the cartridge.

The moen 1225 cartridge rubber seals (Seals on hot & cold sides of cartridge) are notorious for being torn/broken off when removing the cartridge. The torn piece of seal will sometimes get lodge inside the water port holes of the valve or make its way to the new cartridge. If the shower is the only fixture with lukewarm water pull the new cartridge to examine cartridge and inside of valve for a piece of the old cartridge seal. Look inside of valve with a flash light.

The sinks in the same master bath give me lukewarm water too. Only the master tub is fine. And also the kitchen and guest bath. Coincidentally the trouble faucets are all Peerless. When I run them I can barely hear any thing inside the heater but when I run the other faucets I can definitely hear water moving in the heater. Also, removing the faucet aerators seems to help quite a bit.

Having an aerator reduces the flow of water considerably. Could it be possible that because of the cold weather, this could just be a situation where you might have to turn up the thermostat on the water heater?

I dont think so. Why am I getting hot water from the tub which is next to the sinks and shower?

Why did you replaced the shower valve cartridge ?

I thought there might be a crossover at the valve. So I replaced all single handled cartridges.
