New Dishwasher Hook up

I recently purchased a dishwasher and have not had experience hooking up a new one. I got the hot water line connected, but am having issues with the waste line. I have attached some pictures to show what I think my issues might be.

Do I Need an Air Gap? (Cleveland, OH)

If no Air Gap, any advice on how to run the line to make the loop that is suppose to prevent water back feeding?

Is the place where the dispose line connection for the dishwasher ok, I feel like it should be higher than the P-trap but not really sure?

Is my P-Trap to long? from the bottom to where it 90's?

If not any recommendations on what I should do to correct it? I've been to the store over 10 times just trying to make what I've got here work. The problem is lining up everything to the metal "Main" going through the floor.

Well here's the picture again.

There seems to be a few items that need to be resolved.
The trap seal is too deep, as you suspected. Believe codes typically require 2" to 4" deep.
Additionally, I see no signs of a vent. It appears to drop down into that galvanized pipe forming an illegal S-Trap.

Depending on how handy you are you could do it all in pvc
use female adpters on the basket strainers long sweep 90 to a tyunder the otherr
bowl to a ptrap cut the galvi 90 off put another ty there on top of the ty there would
be an automatic vent(im sure someone can draw this out so it its less confusing

I would much appreciate it drawn out lol. That was all foreign to me. I am electrical by trade and this seems out of my wheel house, but I'd like to resolve myself.

Turn the tee so the branch is on the horizontal this tee is under the bowl closest to the drain going into
the wall under that tee is the ptrap the tee connects to the bowl furthest away

The way you have it now, the disposer might be likely to pump water right straight across, and up into the other sink bowl.
