Hi, I am in need of some advice regarding the installation of a Booster pump to improve the pressure for a large house, the problem I am facing that there is no place to install the Booster pump on the main line when it enters the house, the main line goes in through the ceiling in finished basement and splits on a tee, there is no access to the main line before the split, the main line splits with one end going to hot water heater in utility room and the other going to kitchen and bathroom in the opposite direction, I would like to install the pump on the line just prior to enteeing the hot water heater, I am trying to figure out a way to do this that would still boost pressure for entire house, possibly using check valves and returning back into the main line supplying the hot water heater but I am not sure that is possible, if anyone has any suggestions on how this could be achieved it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

before you go all DIY on your house.

why, is your pressure low?

what is the main water service line from water meter to house made of?
condition of said pipe?
what is the pressure reading at the meter?
pressure reading at the house?
difference?
do you have a pressure reducing valve installed for the house?
do some home work before rippping into walls, save some money

you need a minimum psi to run the pump, so it does not burn up. typical 20 psi

DO NOT install a pump till you CHECK the incoming psi

as i suggested before.

if you run the pump dryu,it will burn up.

you will have to cut sheet rock, 90 down out of ceiling, install pump then 90 back up

leaving the pump accessable for maintance

or build a box around it in the ceiling
