I am doing a bathroom remodel and I need to move the toilet. I have a clean out on the main drain line where it exits through the basement wall. This clean out has never been opened in 35 year4s. Is it feasible to use the clean out as the hook up for the new toilet drain?

According to me, when planning your bathroom remodeling layout then space is very important. Other topics like bathroom vanities and cabinets, sinks, faucets, TOTO toilets, showers should be discussed before starting remodeling.

You can use the clean out but you must have a vent between the toilet and the waste stack. It would also be a good idea to install another clean out to replace the one you are using.
