When I run a tap, or flush a toilet I lose pressure if another tap is running. The shower almost runs dry... to the point where it trickles out. The house is new in 2007, all lines are PEX. There are no pressure reducers or devices that I can see that might be affecting the volume. It is the absolute worst when a toilet is filling.
Here is my scenario:
1.5 bath with showeer only
2 toilets
2 bath sinks
1 kitchen sink
1 washer
3 spigots for garden
Rough pluming is done for second floor addition, but all capped and shut off.
House was built it 2007
It has a drilled well with pump in the well.
All lines are PEX - 3/4" main feed and 1/2" to all appliances
Electric HWH 50 Gallon
The order of devices:
Well Pump - Pressure tank - Water softener - Filter - Appliances
I have adjusted my cut in to 45psi Cut out to 65psi and the tank pressure with the house drained down is 43 psi.
Where do I look to solve this?
I have tried closing the valve on the toilet and it helps, but even allowing a partial amount of water through still kills the shower.
I am going to bypass the softner and filter next to see if that helps. We have high iron, but the filter has always been in place so there shouldn't be much build up at the taps.
Thanks!
