Lime buildup?

Can someone tell me what this is?
Also, how do I get rid of it, and how to I prevent it?

Looks like old dried toothpaste. Maybe damage from cleaning products, could be untreated water. You’ll have to decide what applies.

Yes it could be calcium deposits. Put some vinegar on it and see if it foams up. Also, daily maintenance and drying between uses is always a good idea.

put yourself a spray applicator onto a bottle of CLR. Spray it down, and wipe it off right away. I get you this is just calcium (hard water) deposits.

Spray CLR on it and use an old tooth brush to scrub it good. Don't get tooth brushes mixed up. LOL

Maybe we will try it again... but we do try to stay away from nasty harsh chemicals (when possable)
