I have a Jacuzzi brand jetted tub installed when our house was built in 1994. I haven't run the tub in probably 7 years. When I went to run it, the motor ran... But the jets did not circulate the water. I fully opened the air intake covers on the two sides of the tub, and the jets started performing.
I drained the tub and refilled it. Then tried turning it on again. This time it did not start right away and messing with the air intake did not resolve the issue. I turned it off and waited a bit, then tried again and it worked.
What could cause the motor to always run... But the jet water circulation to be intermittent?
