I am looking at the flange of a toilet I am replacing and I noticed a lot of rough edges on the flange going into the closet bend. It looks as though the flange was cut in some way. Looking closer at it, it seems there is separation/gap where the flange looks like it was glued to the top of the closet bend instead of going inside of the closet bend. Is this a possibility or am I off my nut and in need of some rest?
