Innoflex pex c connector on delta faucet

Hi I’m currently helping someone with a delta faucet and they have these innoflex pex c hoses coming off of the faucet. Unfortunately Someone cut the factory ends off the pex supply lines to shorten them up. I’m trying to figure out what I can use to get a water tight seal on the hose again. A plumber friend of mine said a shark bite 3/8 push to connect would work. Does anyone have any experience with this or know what’s available to fix these lines.

John Guest also makes 3/8" push to connect fittings and Delta actually ships in every box, two white plastic ferrules and brass reinforcing inserts to allow compression connections when necessary.
Any good hardware store will have white plastic/poly 3/8 ferrules and also brass inserts.
