Hello,

Just installed a new heating system, gas condensing boiler/indirect hot water heater. Everything is working well but i had noticed that when the hotwater heater is calling for heat, as it starts to reach the the set temperature(110F), the relief valve opens a tiny bit and starts to dribble and then it stops when it stops calling for heat. I think this is odd being that the relief valve is 150psi/210F. The boiler water heating it is only at times 130F to 175F, and the domestic pressure is no where near 150psi. The relief valve is brand new. Any ideas guys, besides maybe a faulty one? Thanks.

Have you tried to reset the valve by lifting the pin for 2 or 3 second and releasing.

Yes, I did. I fixed it though. The problem was that I had no expansion tank installed. Thanks.
