Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to install a water spigot over a basement sump pump pit. The sump pump already has a water line running to it for backup in case of power outage. I wouldn't be allowing any thing but water from the spigot in the pit. Just wanted a water source in the basement. I guess my main concern was having the water flow into the pit. I do not know anything about plumbing. If it is possible I would be hiring a plumber to do the job. Thanks for your feedback.
