Icemaker/refrigerator line - switching from plastic to copper

Hi,

I keep getting pinhole leaks behind my fridge in the plastic line that feeds my icemaker/frdge. The line runs from under my sink, under tile, across my kitchen to the fridge.

Is there any easy way to switch the line from plastic to copper without ripping up tile?

It strikes me odd that this is happening. If you're getting pinholes in plastic, you will get pinholes in copper too.

Have you had your water tested? Do you know what you're treating? Can you post pictures of the rotted plastic?

Mice?.............. you cant run it behind the base board? or under the cabinets?
