Hello. Our pipes are making a loud humming noise when we run a bath. It is intermittent but happens about 80% of the time. Hum starts after the bath is partially run. This started after I turned the temperature back up on the tank after having been away for a week. I adjusted the temp down twice but that didn't help. The sound is loudest in the bathroom. It doesn't seem to be coming from the tank. Once, when it was humming, I grabbed the hot water line downstairs that leads to the tub and the pitch of the hum changed. FYI the tank is gas heated and about 2 years old.
