My best friend bought a house in January and noticed that the toilet in his daughter's bathroom doesn't flush well. He pulled the toilet to clean it out and clear the drain and discovered that the drain was so far forward that if he tried to put a modern toilet in there, the front of the toilet would almost touch the wall and would block access to the shower. I'll have to get pictures at some point, but the bathroom already had a round front toilet because there was so little room. The floor is concrete slab so moving the drain is not currently feasible.
Other than smashing up the concrete to move the drain, what are the options?
Would an offset flange help?
Are there any particular toilets that would be good replacements that are under $200?
This is a crappy not-to-scale rough sketch of the bathroom.
