Thank you. That is exactly what I did tonight and snapped the stem off which allowed me to remove it. I also found a serial number which told me it was a Koehler faucet and originally had a special tool for installation. Thanks for the response but it is now removed.View attachment 21114 Move that braided supply line out of the way, then use a basin wrench on the hex looking shaft.
