Hose Bibb

Hello All,

First post here and just want to say thanks in advance to all the great information I will be getting here as a first time home owner.

A question I have is, with a standard hose bibb (as pictured), is it possible to have water run backwards (from right to left in the picture) or would it cause a huge drop in PSI? I am planning a project and want to make sure I can do what I need to do.

I'm guessing the flow will be reduced just because water is designed to flow from left to right, but not too much. Let us know how it works!
