What exact size wrench do I need for a 3/4" Hose Bib and Ball Valve? (Non Adjustable)

Go to hardware store, plumbing section. Pick up a ball valve and take it to the tool isle. Try wrenches until you find one that fits. Purchase both items. It's pretty easy stuff I'm not sure why you need 2 or 3 different posts to get your answer

Why would anyone spend the money for one size wrench when for less money, you could purchase an adjustable wrench and cover every size?

Because most people will buy a cheap adjustable wrench and it will slip and round edges. If you buy a quality adjustable it will stay tight and work great, I stay away from shiny ones. Seems all my good ones are a black colored steel.

Correct, chromed causes slips. The black oxide finish (industrial finish) is better for trades (IMO) and you don't have to worry about scratching them... ;)

I did, its' in Husky 32 MM, (the sae size does not fit and is too small) no socket big enough I don't believe, but do u know if the socket will be the same, I really don't why the nut part is different in measurement, but appears to be the same fit for the store, but I may have a home growner return item/factory odd ball or something , because it's different size?
