I have a VC8710-03 actuator that rattles loudly and gets stuck in both opening and closing 3 way valve.
Is there anyway to open a Honeywell 8710-03 Actuator casing?
It seems that the actuator just needs a good cleaning and lubrication.
I want to keep the rare (due to model discontinuation) VC8710 model, due to its, "Quick Connect", Molex wiring connection.
The replacement for VC8710 model, is Vc8711-11.
That one has to be wired in each time.
The rub, is that those " VC series" Honeywell actuators, last about 2yrs!!!
An Actuator with a Molex connection would make for a easy biannual fix.
