I'm trying to take out the cartridge from one of my sink handles but am having difficulty unscrewing the nut. I've tried liquid wrench and CLR to remove any buildup and still no luck. It's been leaking from one of the handles so I figure it's an o-ring or cartridge defect. I'm not sure of the brand/model. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried a deep well 6 point socket? Additionally, if you have access to PB Blaster, apply some, and let it soak onto the threads overnight.

Thanks for the quick replies. Unfortunately I was unable to remove it. I've tried the deep well socket and still no luck. I havn't tried the PB Blaster, but I did try the liquid wrench. I"m assuming it's the same effect(lubricant)? Anyways, I've decided to replace that old faucet(15+yrs) with a new one. Thanks for the suggestion guys, I will surely keep them in mind for next time.
