Help needed with connecting a pot filler

Hey all,
I moved to new construction and I have a pot filler preparation that was made and now it's time to connect it and needs a bit of help to understand what I need to buy.
For the actual faucet, I believe I need a 1/2" Brass Nipple.
And I have a pipe that is currently not connected and will need to connect it to the existing water line, what do I need for that?

The pipe goes all the way to a bathroom but right now it's not connected to any active water line so I will need to connect it to the water I have there. (the pot filler pipe is the right one)

A 1/2 brass nipple in varying lengths, close to 4".
That pipe has to be connected to a water source to have passed an inspection. Turn off water and remove nipple, install pot filler.
Be careful of the finish.

This is the line for the pot filler that goes into my bathroom and currently it's not connected to any active water line so my plan is to connect it to the one next to it (which is a regular faucet) just need to know what I should use to connect the 2.

I paid a plumber to add the line during the construction but I had to leave it not connected because it wasn't done as part of the builder.
Now this plumber is no longer answering my calls to come and finish the job and I'm pretty sure I can do it myself just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly

Ahha.
If you have room behind the shutoff for the lav sink,cut in a tee and feed the pot filler. I would add a shutoff to the pot filler in case of an issue. Who cares its under the lav.
If not, they do make shutoff valves that would connect to the outlet of the existing shutoff. Not my first choice.
