help identifying problem

The handle was leaking and I put packing behind the nut and the handle quit leaking. Now the faucet is leaking. Can someone help me fix the leak and identify the valve? Thanks, Bill

pull that chrome barrel straight out, it might argue a little bit, snatch it off of there

or it unscrews, either way
