So I have this toilet that gurgles. I have tried the following.
Used auger on air stack 25ft
Used auger at clean outs 25ft
Garden house down air stack 10 minutes
Garden house at clean outs 10 minutes
Poured 5 gallon bucket quickly in toilet
4 different toilets (original 3.0gpf, dual flush, a 1.6gpf, and a known working 1.6gpf toilet)
Taken traps off for more air flow
Sealed drains with duct tape and flushed hoping to pull clog thru
Taken toilet off filled tank outside and it flushed as designed.
For some reason they had a 3" reduced to 1 1/4 on stack, I only found that when I found the access panel in the sun room, and was happy to see the pipe size reduced thinking I finally found the problem, after tearing the wall up and replacing the stack to 3" throughout. The toilet still has weak flush and gurgling.
Had a plumber come out and he tired everything I had for the most part. His theory was the drain pipe in the slab is cracked. Is the camera my last and only option to finding a problem? Am I missing anything?
