Here's a photo of part of what I noticed in the shower today. There are a few other similar areas in the same corner, but this is the largest.
The grout seems to have crumbled away.
I know that grout isn't what actually prevents moisture from getting behind our shower, but I would still like this to be closed up again.
Would clear silicone caulk/sealer be an effective thing to use for right now, until we can get it grouted again? I ask because a.) we have some, b.) it's easy to use, and c.) it was even effective outdoors keeping rain from getting into a crack between our exterior wall and window frame.
