Garden Hose is Leaking - How to Fix?

Hi guys,

So my garden hose is leaking, and I've tried to put plumbing tape over it, but it didn't seem to fix the problem. What do you guys suggest I should do besides getting a new hose?

It looks like you need a rubber washer in the female connection of the hose that threads onto the quick-connect. The packing nut on the on the hose bib by the handle looks like it could use maybe a 16th of turn to tighten. Unless there's something else I don't see on the video.
