Faucet / Hose Bibb Connection

I've not seen a hose faucet similar to the one I've got. I thought I could get a connection piece from Home Depot, but the threads on the 1/2" female end are really tight.

Anyone know what brand this is, or how I can add a hose bibb attachment?

Oooh... update... I just discovered the brand "Woodford" around the top. Gonna see if I can't find some info online.

Looks like a Woodford Model 21 or a Model 24. I believe I'm headed in the right direction

A woodford hydrant is a good brand. They make repair parts for them.
