Do i need a hot water heater?

My hot water heater keeps discharging after i replaced the t&p valve. I believe the indirect oil hot water heater needs to be replaced. Do i actually need a hot water heater? I believe i can pipe hot water to come directly from my boiler. It's just my wife and i, so our hot water demands aren't very high. This would help because i don't have the funds to replace the hot water heater at the moment, but i can afford the pipe.

Relief valves don't discharge for no reason. T&P stands for Temperature and Pressure. So either what's controlling the temperature is running wild (circulator,zone valve, aquastat) or the pressure is spiking. Have a plumber check it out.

after the t&p was installed, did anyone open it ?
