Dishwasher With Gurgling Sink

Hi there, new to the forums. I bought a new house recently and just ran the dishwasher, but I get a gurgling noise in the sink every time I run the dishwasher, is this normal?

as long as its just gurgling, and not backing up.

if it stops gurgling and starts singing Rock n roll ,,run!!!!
