I'm looking for a way to feed the condensate hose from my basement dehumidifier to a drain. There is a basement bathroom whose sink vent/drain and tub drain are accessible from behind. Is there a PVC fitting that could be cut into the sink vent/drain or tub drain into which the hose from the dehumidifier could be inserted? Would it be necessary to seal the hose to the fitting, and if so how would that be done? Obviously I'll have to place the dehumidifier so the outlet is higher than the drain fitting.
