I bought a new dishwasher and the drain hose is not long enough to make it to the copper transition. The dishwasher is a Bosch and where the hose is attached is not accessible leaving me with 2 options that I know of: use more corrugated plastic to extend whats there, or extend the copper closer to the dishwasher. My concern with the latter is that it is 1/2" copper which doesn't look thick enough for a drain. If I extend the copper, will I have a sizing problem? Plus I have to add 2 90s to get it where I need it. What is the proper way to do this?
Thank you.

you can replace the entire length of hose with 5/8 neoprene hose. or slip into the end of existing hose a short pc of 1/2"copper (5/8' O.D.) an a couple hose clamps. 5/8 radiator hose at your local auto parts store will do. Should have it at the hardware store as well.
