I am in the process of buying the parts needed to convert a 2 year old water heater in a recently purchased house from LP to Natural gas. The water heater was originally a Natural gas model that was converted by the plumbers to LP. I have found the burner assembly part to change out.

Do I need to change out the gas control valve and igniter also or will the current ones work for natural also?

I never recommend anyone other than a licensed professional to do anything that has to do with gas. People get upset because I won't sell them replacement parts for their gas water heaters unless a contractors is getting it. But I sleep better.
