The last few days I've noticed water accumulating near my water heater. It's a steady drip, but the water is not hot. It's actually cool or room temperature. It's accumulating around the lower rim, nothing dripping inside near the pilot so it seems it's coming from outer walls of tank.
Could this be anything but condensation?
It's also very cold here, close to zero Fahrenheit.
Could the extreme temps coming into vent be contributing?
I should add that I've inspected all connections , drain, pressure release, etc. No visible leaks.
