Have been having issues with a builder Hansgrohe Bathroom faucet sticking and this week it simply would no longer turn. Was hard as heck and the entire handle would spin and no water would come out.

Took the faucet off and I'm guessing whatever method the lever connected to the faucet maybe broke?

Unless I'm missing something am I need of a new faucet or can this be fixed?

Friggin faucet seems to go for $500+ which is ridiculous.

We have found GROHE tech support to be just awful the last couple of years, if you have the model/paperwork you should be able to find the stem and handle at Guillens or another online parts store. Otherwise you've not really any other option but to replace it.

They have a Hansgrohe faucet, not Grohe.

Thanks.. Have checked the hargrohe site.. Man...there are several faucets that all look the same but none seem to have the same parts.

Then there's the problem of finding someone in Canada that sells the parts.

Have emailed Gullens, though it will likely be $300 CAD assuming they ship.

What a PIA. Almost like the builder used some custom version of the Metris Special line.

I had a bad experience with that parts supplier.

They sent me the wrong part and wanted me to pay to send it back.

Send them an email and it takes 2 days for them to answer.

If you call you’re on hold for 30 minutes.

Never again.......

Maybe..so faucet makers sell parts directly?
Some do, yours may covered under the warranty.

If you’re the original owner and you still live in the house it says you’re covered.

Contact them, they’re in Georgia.

So contacted Hansgrohe, wow, great customer support. Didn't ask to see a receipt, see the faucet, nothing. Even though I said it was 6 years old, the lady simply said they'd ship out parts. Basically the entire cold lever down to the cartridge, and hot side as well. No charge.

Impressed. Will take 6-8 weeks, but I can live with that.

I find that if you call knowing what you want and need with part numbers the faucet manufacturers don’t question the warranty as much.

I get a lot of free parts. 🤡.

When we had 10 service trucks running the Delta rep would drop off a huge box of parts a couple times a year. Different times now.
