Can I/How-to Rebend Copper Pipe?

Hiya,

We have a short, straight run of 3/4" copper pipe coming down from our outdoor shower valve to a spigot. Someone (ok, my father-in-law) attached a hose to the spigot, pulled it too hard, and bent the pipe. There is no leak.

Can I apply heat to the bend to re-straighten the pipe or will that compromise it?

It will have to be cut out and replaced sorry

Trying to bend it back will probably break it. Leave it alone or replace it.
