Help...part of outdoor faucet broke and left this plastic part behind, stuck threaded in faucet. Not sure how to remove it?! Thanks for advice!

Why is that long stem still in there?
It is in your way.
Explain.

With the stem/shaft removed, you can use a common nipple extractor to grab it to unscrew it.

If that copper shaft can’t be unscrewed, try grabbing the opposite edges of the plastic with two needle nose pliers, and twist them both to unscrew that plastic.
 
frost proof hose bibs can be a PITA
or very easy. Depends on the guy that installed it the first time.

IF it was installed correctly. It is a simple matter of unscrewing the whole unit,
If it was not installed correctly. when you try to unscrew it, You will break or twist the piping n the wall

My advice
Use your tape measure to find the location of the valve on the inside of the house
cut a square of sheet rock out. then put a back up on the piping while you unscrew the hose bib
