Hello,
First let me say, I am a retired plumber living in Mexico for the last 12 years. When I built my home here, I installed three Bosch tankless units for better control of zone requirements. All has been well up until now. I just replaced one unit with a new 13 LPM model. I find that the gas connection architecture has changed. What used to be standard MIP is now what appears to be 1/2 inch MIP but with flats in the thread area and a flat machined face seal area. Miss 12 years - miss a lot apparently. Are flexible gas supply tubes now using a flat gasketed seal face instead of the tapered style fittings, thirty seven degree if memory serves. Bosch install literature refers to GLP flex hose. No joy when I search for that product literature. I feel like I need to do this myself. After years here, local plumbers still scare the hell out of me. Any encouragement to an old fart will be most appreciated
