Hi,

My husband has removed the toilet in our son's bathroom and right now we just have a towel wrapped in a plastic bag stuffed in the drain hole. What is the best way to remove this/seal it up? Ideally, I'd like to just cover this up completely and use the space for a table.

Can you get underneath this bathroom. If you could cut the elbow off underneath the floor and cap it, that
would be the best way.

Thanks. That's indeed what he did. It was a tight fit in the crawl space under that bedroom but he got it done. This let him completely remove the flange thingy as well and fix the floor to be flat there.
