Hello everyone, it's my first post here.
Trying ti fix leak in bath drain. When I disassemble drain nut, I found broken seal ring.
Photo on attachment 1.
It's pretty hard, not even close so soft as rubber. Feels like PVC or so.
Can-t find the same in local stores (HD, LOWE'S).
Only rubber, different shape, they leaking too.

Trying to figured out to replace all the drain (black on attachment 2) because I think part marked as 1-1/2 is smaller in selling drains (1-1/4), but all that I can see is for much smaller sewer pipe (mine has 2 inches in diameter).20200512_230941.jpg20200512_223737.jpg

I'm new with this, don't judge hard, please. Trying to figure out and fix it by myself)))
Best regards)))

Cut pipe next to p-trap fitting going into wall . Buy a master p-trap with a marvel fitting which will glue to pipe going into wall and install new master p-trap and get rid of that service trap

frodo, thank you. Yes, it might helps.
Pat the Plumber CIL, thank you. New p-trap OK, it's understandable. But, can you give me the example link of marvel fitting which I need to glue into 2'' pipe to have 1-1/4 connection with new p-trap? I'm not local, in my original coutry all the sewer connections is a bit different, no glue... Trying to understand USA realities)))

frodo, thanx a lot for your reply! P-trap itself yes, 1-1/5, final piece is bigger, sewer pipe is bigger too, as I can measure, 2 inch.

The pipe size isn't the outside diameter of the pipe. It's the inside. It's not 2" pipe; its 1 1/2".

If there were 2" somewhere in that set-up, there'd be a reducer, and there isn't one.

Trust the plumber's eye. It'll save ya the headache of buying the wrong size.

pvc pipe sizes chard id od inner diameter outer diameter

Great, thanks a lot to everyone in this thread. Firstly, I'll try to find Charlotte Pipe reducer to solve the problem. My local Lowe's don't have it(((
