Does your sewer line exit above or below your basement floor? Do you have a sump pit and drain tile around the foundation? Maybe dirt from cracked drain tile is coming up the drain because your sump pump isn't kicking on at the appropriate level? For example the floater gets stuck and the water level gets too high before the pump kicks on. Just a shot in the dark. I'm just a novice.
