I have a large jacuzzi tub that is built in and tiled (see pic). It has a 1 1/4 HP motor in the attic space that drives the jets. Problem is, after 10 minutes or so the water quickly cools. What options are there to put an inline heater in. I'm an electrical contractor and don't mind pulling a new circuit to make this happen. Also, how would the temperature be regulated.

Many thanks,
Byron

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any type of inline heater that would be effective at those kind of flow rates.

Have you considered insulating as much of the piping as you can? I would bet that a lot of your heat loss is from those long runs of piping.

i know that they make heaters for jacuzzi tubs that are fiberglass. who made the tub you have? i bet if they dont make one for your tub you could buy one from kohler or jacuzzi and make it work.
