I'll just copy-paste this from a post I made on reddit

So I've been having an ongoing issue with this kitchen sink clogging. The house is 50±- years old. Last year a broken elbow was replaced under the slab. When that was replaced we noticed the condition of the rest of the sewer line but decided not to pursue it. The pipe was cracked at portions and root growth was seen.

Well we were back again to non draining sink and unsnakeable drain. Tried snaking through vent and through sink with no success. Left the sink off, but the RO water needed somewhere to drain and ended up draining under the sink. That was the last straw. God knows the worst thing in the world is having wet socks. So I tore up the floor to replace the degrading sewer line with abs. Is the standard procedure to add stainless couplings to join abs with cast iron? Because that's how I was going to proceed. I also want to add a sanitary tee(tee y) under the dishwasher space. Is that going to cause any issues in regards to flow/venting? I would need to shoot the T at a 45 degree angle to the floor so the chute for the cleanout will be at 45 degrees as seen in my crappy scribble. I want to add this because I'd rather remove the dishwasher and snake the drain at a straight shot rather than do it under the sink or on the roof and go through elbows and other crap. That is, if I ever need to do so in the future.
