Hi, In my home I have a water tank in the roof. The exit tube that delivers the water to the home is a 2" tube. I want to install a Water flow sensor so I track if any toilets are wasting water. The water flow sensor is a 1" device, so I have to install a converter from 2" to to 1" and then 1" to 2" again. The question here is: Does this affect the pressure or flow in my home?

Thanks

If the 2" size is actually properly sized to deliver adequate pressure and volume to your plumbing fixtures, than yes, restricting it to 1" will cause problems.
