gas valve

Hello All, The attached photo is of the gas valve on one of my patio heaters. The heater is made by Detroit Radiant, but I'm interested in knowing the brand name of the valve itself. Can anyone identify the brand by the markings? I ordered a replacement thermocouple from Detroit Radiant, and...

Left one is older valve with much longer temperature sensor (with build-ups on plastic cover). Per water heater mfr, right valve is the newer replacement model. Do you find such a difference, where the (right) replacement sensor will not reach as deep/far into tank, to be surprising?
