    PB fitting fracture

    I have 30 year old PB throughout, not on municipal water. Never had a leak, but within the last two weeks there have been two fractures in drop ear elbows near the copper crimp ring. See attached pic. (Yes, I know I have to replumb eventually) Why this particular spot? Once might be a fluke...
