    How to fix knocking noise with hot water in CPVC pipes

    My contractor installed these CPVC pipes shown in the photo for a double vanity. When you turn on the hot water on either sink (hot water is on the left on both sinks), there is knocking that starts once the water gets hot and it doesn't stop until about 15 seconds after turning off the water...

    Have you see type of pipe before?

    CPVC -- should I repipe? urgent

    I was having a bathtub replaced in a rental property. The plumbing is CPVC, approximately 15 years old (put in before I bought the place). Pipe do not appear to be brittle when I touch them. I've never had any leaks at this house. I'm in Florida so the pipes don't get exposed to extreme cold...
