What do you pros out there think about the waxless flanges? Specifically, the Fernco brand...All opinions would be welcome. Thanks

Only reason that I would ever personally use a waxless would be if someone put their radiant too close to the toilet and they keep melting the wax. Just like John said if its not broke don't fix it.

Another vote here for wax. Maybe its just because im more of the "if it aint broke, dont fix it" type but i have tried a few waxless flanges. 1 sponge flange as temporary and the Fernco brand. Honestly, i havent had them leak but i left the job not feeling all that confident in the product, thats reason alone for me not to want to use them.

The way i see it, wax will squish and conform to the bottom of the toilet and make a nice seal. The cast of a toilet isnt always perfect so it will still seal the imperfections.
