Hello

I would like to have some suggestions: My water line is already short and I need to replace the corroded valves.
Any idea on how to remove the valves without shortening the water line even more?
Or if I have to cut, how can I extend the line without using sharkbite or cutting into the wall?

I’m not aware of anyway to change the entire valve without cutting into the wall to access more pipe.

You Could just replace the parts inside the valve. It usually works if you have good quality water.

That's Uponor PEX-A piping, aka expansion pex. You can heat up the ring with a heat gun and cut off the RING-DON'T CUT THE ACTUAL PIPE.
Then you can use new PEX-A ring and angle stop to replace the old ones. You'll need the expansion tool.

It's gonna be a lot cheaper to find a local plumber who works with PEX-A than to do this yourself, just so you know.

I’m not going to say your method doesn’t work but Uponor wants 2-3” cut off depending on what size pipe you’re working with.
