Hey everyone, I've been browsing for a while, but wanted to ask a question.
Let's say you've got a two story house over a full basement. There's a full bath upstairs and a full and half bath on the main level along with a kitchen. Do you have to run a central stack up from the basement to the attic and tie the upstairs bath to it, then in the basement tie everything else to it before going out to the septic tank, or can you bring that upstairs bath down to the basement then tie everything together before heading out to the septic tank? The upstairs bath would be vented from the lavatory, as would the main level full and half bath. Laundry is also on the main level and could be tied in and vented with the kitchen up through the second level to the attic. The plan was just to tie all the vents together in the attic and take one 2 inch pipe out the roof.
I guess the only difference in these options would be the central stack would then be vented at the top whereas the second method everything would be vented at the fixtures only. Thanks in advance for your help!
