I have been messing with an outdoor shower that hasn’t worked in a few years. I have a problem with the hot water valve. When I turn on the cold water valve, it seems to run out the front of the hot water valve. Wondering how I could fix it. Already changed the washer. Thanks.

me thinks you just need to tighten the hex nut which has packing beneath it. If it makes it too hard to turn, then pull the stem and lubricate the threads.
